St Joseph’s College runs an extensive extracurricular program to enrich and diversify the education of our students:

- Liturgical band for masses and liturgies

Representative sport, for example, golf, hockey, triathlon, touch football, athletics, water polo, basketball, swimming, netball, tennis, squash, beach volleyball, surf lifesaving, cross country and soccer and Duke of Edinburgh awards
Achievement in sport
St Joseph’s Catholic College has achieved the status of Champion School (in a range of divisions) in the following Diocesan competitions: Surfing, Soccer, Basketball, Netball, and Swimming.
The College sporting teams are represented in the Combined Catholic Colleges competition and the College Netball in the NSW Catholic Schools Netball Association. The College enjoys a high level of representation in Diocesan teams to play in Combined Catholic Colleges (CCC) competitions. Throughout the year students can be selected to represent NSW in an all schools NSW team.
